This week’s lesson included some great conversations with our children. We discussed our favorite colors, fruits, and modes of transportation. We also asked each other names and ages. For example, “你叫什么名字？” “我叫xx” “你几岁？” “我三/四/五岁。”
This week in writing, we learned how to write ages in Chinese. For example, “我五岁” in Chinese writing. Our children are very proud of themselves.
In the weekly topic, we learned vocabulary about our clothes, such as shoes 鞋, socks 袜子, clothes 衣服, trousers 裤子, shorts 短裤, skirt 裙子, cap/hat 帽子, gloves 手套, etc. We also read a book called <弟弟穿衣>. The children are able to repeat the vocabulary for different types of clothes.
