Dartford Chinese School has been appointed by the Chinese Proficiency Test UK Committee of Hangban, China as an official examination centre and it has decided to hold an HSK examination on the 1st November 2014 from 12.30pm to 1.30pm.
HSK Chinese Proficiency Test has been set up by the Chinese government and promoted by Hangban as the only internationally recognised Chinese qualifications, which is on a par with the structure with the European languages with standardised proficiency testing. The main emphasis is on testing student candidates whose first language is not Chinese on their abilities to cope in their daily lives, study and work using conversational Chinese. Each year, there will be several examinations which are coordinated in different countries all over the world. Examination papers are corrected in Beijing collectively. One month after the examination, candidates will receive HSK results and relevant certificates from Hangban, China.
Our school will be organising our Year2, Year 3 and Adult class students to participate in these examination the contents of which will be integrated into the teaching in the classrooms.
I hope that the new contents will render the lessons more interesting and practical, and periodic examinations will strengthen the students’ targets and enhance their interests.
