教学内容 (teaching content)：
1， 老师和学生做自我介绍， 相互认识。通过这个环节大概了解一下学生听、说、读、写的能力,以及对中国文化的了解程度,比如知不知道自己的属相，等等。（Introduce ourselves to get to know each other, so that I could have an opportunity to know their ability of listening, speaking, reading and writing of Chinese, also how much they know about Chinese culture，e.g. Chinese Zodiac. ）
内容包括：
• 名字
• 几岁
• 生日
• 属相
• 家里有什么人
• 喜欢的食物（吃什么）
• 喜欢做的事（兴趣、爱好）
2，把学生自我介绍时说过的一些字、词写在白板上，没学过的和学过不确定写法和读法的拿出来讲, (Learning and revising some words)
爸爸、妈妈、哥哥、姐姐、妹妹、字、岁、包，等等，让学生读、写、注音和组词。
唱中文的“生日快乐歌”
为学习第五课课文做铺垫。
3， 插入端午节的小故事，带入中国文化。
(Story of Dragon boat festival, introduce some Chinese culture)
家庭作业(home work)：
1, 请要考YCT一级和二级的同学复习所有词汇和做真题集，反复练习。（Students who is doing YCT text level 1 and level 2, please revise all the vocabularies and practise the exam papers, practise as many times as you can ）
2，按照课堂上讲过的几点（名字，几岁等等），写一小段自我介绍，如果可以多写更好，不然就按照课堂讲的写就可以，标拼音, 谢谢！（要备考的同学，
可以不写自我介绍）
（write a small paragraph to introduce yourself, it will be better if the student can write more, otherwise just follow the points above, which we have done in the class. Please tell them to do PINYIN as well, thank you! Students who is doing the YCT text on Saturday can skip this home work if they need more time to do the preparation.）
注意事项 (Note)
1， 星期六考YCT一级和二级的同学请准备两支2B铅笔 和橡皮（bring two 2B pencil and eraser for the text on Saturday ）
2， 考试时间、地点（time and location）：
• 一级，35分钟，11:20到11:55开始。在教室外考场。(YCT level 1, last 35 minutes, from 11:20 to 11:55, outside the classroom)
• 二级， 50分钟，11:10 到12:00。 在三年级班里。(YCT level 2, last 50 minutes, from 11:10 to 12:00, in year3 classroom)
