3.什么时候用“了”，什么时候不用“了”
1）我回家了。
2）我不回家了。In negative sentences，用“了”吗？what does it mean?
It implies I had been planning to go home.
我不回家。I am not going home.
3）with modal verbs(要，应该，能，可以，会，喜欢)，不用“了”
4）For repeated or continuous actions in the past, 不用 “了”
5）with verb “是，有，觉得”，不用“了”
4. “快/要+verb+了” 这个“了”表示completed action吗？不表示！
天快/要下雨了。
The train is about to come.
We are about to eat.
5.“了“ is used after an adj to indicate change of state. 不再用“很”。
她很高。
她高了。She has become taller.
天气很热。
天气热了。The weather has got hot.
6. 那么if you want to talk about things that did not happen in the past？ 用“没有”！
“没“是“没有”的short version.
