This week in our Chinese lesson, we reviewed the colors we learned in previous lessons and introduced some new ones! The new colors we learned are black, white, brown, pink, and purple. We practiced identifying these colors in sentences and questions, such as: “Can you spot anything blue in the room?” (教室里蓝色的东西在哪里？).
Additionally, we learned three pairs of common opposites: tall and short (高和矮), long and short (长和短), and big and small (大和小). We explored these concepts by comparing objects of different sizes.
For homework:
1. Please complete the attached worksheets and practice with objects at home.
2. Engage in the colour practice word wall game.
3. Listen to and learn the color song.
4. Practice long and short/tall and short/ big and small
