这节课，我和同学们一起学习了职业这个话题，在生活中各行各业的人们每天在帮助我们社会解决各种问题。我们这节课学习的职业有很多，例如：警察，消防员，兽医，老师，牙医，紧急医护人员，医生护士，交通协管员，救生员，还有邮递员。
我们一起讨论了这些职业的职责分别是：
警察：维护我们的安全，确保我们遵纪守法。
消防员：用喷水枪灭火，坐消防车赶到火灾现场救火。
紧急医护人员：受伤时或者发生意外时，第一时间赶到，检查身体然后送病人去医院。
医生和护士：用听诊器检查身体，在医生的辅导下吃药，骨折的话需要拍X光片然后护士帮我们包扎伤口。
老师和助教：帮助孩子学习新的知识和技能，同时还帮助孩子辅导阅读，写作，和数学。
交通协管员：举着交通牌子是为了让车辆等待，让孩子顺利的过马路到学校。
牙医：牙疼牙蛀要去看牙医，他们确保我们的口腔卫生和健康。
兽医：动物的医生，他们会帮动物检查身体发现问题，因为动物不会讲话。
救生员/救生队：救生员是保护我们在水里的安全，如果有人落水他们会跳进水里把他们救上岸。
救生队是救援那些因沉船，翻船而落难的人。
邮递员：把邮筒里的信按照信上不同的地址送到每户人家中去。
DIY手工：制作围裙
材料：卡纸，剪刀，胶水，彩色马克笔
制作过程：将卡纸对折在开口的这一面顶部画一条弯曲的弧线沿着边剪掉多余的部分，然后你就得到一个围裙的形状，换另一种彩色卡纸剪一条长方形并黏贴在这条围裙的最上面两端，变成可以套脖子的绳子，再剪一个半圆形的形状当作口袋粘在围裙上就大功告成啦，回家试一试吧。

In this lesson, my classmates and I learned about the topic of occupations.
In everyday life, people from all walks of life help solve various problems in our society.
We learned about many different jobs in this lesson, such as: police officers, firefighters, vets, teachers, dentists, paramedics, doctors and nurses,school crossing patrols, lifeguards, and postal workers.
We discussed the responsibilities of each of these jobs:
• Police officers: Maintain our safety and ensure that we follow the law.
• Firefighters: Use water hoses to extinguish fires and rush to the scene in fire trucks to put out fires.
• Paramedics: Arrive first when someone is injured or in an accident, check the patient, and take them to the hospital.
• Doctors and nurses: Use stethoscopes to check our health. They guide us in taking medicine, and if we have broken bones, we need X-rays and nurses help us wrap the injuries.
• Teachers and teaching assistants: Help children learn new knowledge and skills. They also support children in reading, writing, and count.
• Crossing guards: Hold up traffic signs to stop cars and help children cross the road safely to school.
• Dentists: When we have toothaches or cavities, we go to the dentist. They help keep our mouths clean and healthy.
• Vets: Doctors for animals. They check animals to find health issues since animals can’t speak.
• Lifeguards and rescue teams:
• Lifeguards protect our safety in the water. If someone falls in, they jump in to save them.
• Rescue teams save people in distress from shipwrecks or boat accidents.
• Postal workers: Deliver letters from mailboxes to households based on the addresses on the envelopes.

DIY Craft: Making an Apron
Materials: Cardstock, scissors, glue, colored markers
Steps:
1. Fold a piece of cardstock in half.
2. On the top of the open edge, draw a curved line and cut off the excess along the edge. This gives you the shape of an apron.
3. Use a different colored cardstock to cut a long rectangle and glue both ends to the top corners of the apron — this becomes the neck strap.
4. Then cut a semicircle shape to be the pocket and stick it onto the apron.
Now your apron is complete! Give it a try at home!
