We started with a simple self-introduction activity. Through this exchange, not only did we get to know each other a little better, but we also reviewed the sentence pattern “I am ___, I like ___.”Next, we talked about your holiday experiences. From your sharing, I could feel that everyone had a colorful and exciting vacation. Together, we recalled the places you visited and the roads you crossed. This naturally led us into our first lesson of the term: “Traffic Lights.”In class, we first learned an important traffic rule: “Stop at a red light, go at a green light, and get ready when the light is yellow.” We also reminded ourselves that when crossing the street, we should use the crosswalk. 课堂活动Classroom Activities:1)红绿灯小游戏:一位同学拿手上的交通灯指示器举手示意,红灯=不动,黄灯=原地拍两下,绿灯=向前走两步,做错的同学就回到位置上。Traffic Light Game One student used a traffic light card:Red = stop, Yellow = clap twice, Green = walk two steps.If wrong, go back to your seat.2)9月10号就是教师节了,我们结合教师节和今天的《红绿灯》,制作了一个红绿灯教师贺卡:红灯里写写感谢/祝福话语,黄灯里写些你们想问的小问题,绿灯里写写你们的愿望和希望。我看到你们的贺卡了,感到满满的的❤️和希望。Teacher’s Day Card Since Sept 10 is Teacher’s Day, we made traffic light cards:Red = thanks/blessings, Yellow = questions, Green = wishes/hopes.Your cards were full of love and hope ❤️.
