本周我们以英译中测验为开始。测试了一下同学们对上周需要掌握的字词的掌握程度。发现掌握的程度不一。我们花费了一些时间把这些字词全部又写了一遍。需要同学们额外再付出时间来学习一下这些汉字。
我们然后学习了：饮食习惯和节日饮食这两个章节。 本周需要掌握的生字词在Quizlet 链接全部都可以重复学习自我测试。 本课重点需要学生们掌握的是中国的主要几个节日-春节，元宵节，端午节和中秋节。复活节和圣诞节也需要了解，主要了解其历史/背景/由来，习俗传统以及相关庆祝方式（包括各种美食）。
下周是整章节的复习课。
This week, we started with an English-to-Chinese translation quiz to test the students’ grasp of the vocabulary they were expected to master last week. The results showed varying levels of proficiency among the students. We spent some time rewriting all the words again, and it is necessary for the students to put in extra time to study these Chinese characters at home.
We then proceeded to study two units: “Talking about regional food” and “Talking about celebrations.” The new vocabulary to be mastered this week is available for revisions and self-testing via the Quizlet link. The key focus of this lesson is for students to familiarize themselves with several major Chinese festivals—Spring Festival/Chinese lunar New Year, Lantern Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, and Mid-Autumn Festival. Easter and Christmas should also be learnt, with an emphasis on understanding their history/origins, customs and traditions, and related celebration methods (including various festive foods).
Next week will be a review session for the entire chapter.
