• 洗澡要关门,使用沐浴乳或肥皂清洁身体;
• 厕所有男女之分,上完厕所要冲水并洗手;
• 当需要帮助时,要勇敢说出来,向信任的成年人求助;
• 私密部位要保护好,出门要穿好内衣和外衣;

🌟 Lesson Theme: Learning About Our Body and Self-Protection
Today, the children and I learned about the names of different body parts, including the nose, mouth, ears, eyes, face, head, hair, arms, elbows, hands, wrists, fingers, thumbs, legs, knees, feet, ankles, chest, back, and neck. Through vivid pictures, the children were able to learn and remember these words in a fun and engaging way.
After learning about body parts, we moved on to a lesson on daily life knowledge and personal safety. We discussed the concept of “My body belongs to me,” learning how to take care of our bodies and understanding the importance of privacy and respecting others’ personal space. The children learned that:
• When taking a bath, they should close the door and use body wash or soap to clean themselves;
• Toilets are divided for boys and girls; after using the toilet, they should flush and wash their hands;
• When they need help, they should speak up and ask a trusted adult;
• Private parts must be protected — they should always wear underwear and clothes properly;
• When visiting a doctor, if they feel uncomfortable during a body check, they should learn to say “no.”
Through discussions, the children gained a deeper understanding of the idea that “I am the boss of my own body.”
Next, we practiced writing some basic Chinese characters, such as “人” (person) and “口” (mouth), helping the children understand stroke order and character structure.
After that, we played a fun character-and-picture matching game. The children took turns coming to the front to match the correct picture with the given word within a time limit. This activity was very popular—the classroom was filled with laughter and excitement, and the children reinforced what they had learned through play.
During the craft activity, the children used white paper plates, scissors, glue, colored pens, and colored paper to create lively “faces.” Some drew playful smiles, while others added eyes and facial features using cutouts. Every artwork was full of creativity and childlike imagination.

🎵 Homework
For homework, please have the children sing the Chinese version of “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes” at home, doing the actions while singing to reinforce today’s vocabulary about body parts.
