Today we continue Lesson 6 “Snow,” learning vocabulary (open, hear, right away, they, oneself, come over), the sentence “Everyone take a taste and you’ll know,” word expansion (zhēng: strive for, quarrel; mǎn: satisfied, pleased, full marks; liáng: ice-cold, cool, pleasantly cool), text comprehension (what the kitten and puppy saw, who was right and why), reading and substitution practice (taste → tasted a little → tasted a little snow → the kitten and puppy tasted a little snow), action phrases (taste a bit, think a bit, ask a bit, look a bit, listen a bit), the grammar pattern “verb + yi + verb,” the dialogue between Liangliang and Mingming, classroom activities (saying phrases in line, role play), and continued practice of the New Year song “Just Like You” (2:40 version); reading “Little White Cloud,” learning characters (kě: thirsty; hē: drink water; gāng: just now; hū: suddenly; xǔ: many; shù: math, count, common), vocabulary (place, suddenly, clothes, after all, all of a sudden, should), and text comprehension questions (Did the little white cloud rain? Why did it rain?).
