Studying Lesson 8 of Chinese Paradise 3B. Students will make a class schedule from Monday to Friday. Continue practicing the school subjects we have learned. Begin reviewing family members to prepare for the next lesson.
Additional new lesson content:
Study Lesson 8 of Chinese Paradise 3B. Continue learning new vocabulary and expanded sentence patterns: mom, dad, older brother, younger brother, older sister, younger sister sleep, do homework, take a bath, go online, read the newspaper, eat
Sentence pattern:
“What are you doing?” (你在做什么?)
Focus on explaining “在” (be doing) and “做” (do).
Practice expanding sentences using the new vocabulary.
Vocabulary requirements:
o Must be able to listen, speak, read, and write: take a bath (洗澡)
o Must be able to recognize and read: at/in the process of (在), do (做), go online, sleep, do homework, read the newspaper
Students watched the story “The Fox Borrows the Tiger’s Might” (狐假虎威) in class.
3. Chinese Pinyin study:
Practice full recognition of initials (声母) and finals (韵母).
