本周我们进入第二章总复习。我们首先测试了听写。然后进行了听力训练。我们也粗略的了解了一下邓小平的生平和新中国成立以来的重要历史阶段。有兴趣的同学可以进一步了解学习一下。
下周我们继续复习课，着重写作部分。本周作业是完成上周布置的写作：（本周上课上交。如未完成需留校完成。）
1. 课本第37页练习5-翻译。
2. 课本第37页练习6 – 写一封给校长的信。格式请参考课本，或自行搜索中文信件格式。
3. 练习中国春节联欢会的表演节目并熟读台词。
This week we entered the overall review of Chapter Two. We first had a dictation test, followed by listening practice. We also gained a general understanding of Deng Xiaoping’s life and the important historical stages since the founding of the People’s Republic of China. Students who are interested may explore and study this further.
Next week we will continue the review lessons, with a focus on writing. This week’s homework is to complete the assignments assigned last week (to be handed in during class this week; if not completed, students must stay after school to finish it):
1. Textbook page 37, Exercise 5 – Translation.
2. Textbook page 37, Exercise 6 – Write a letter to the principal. Please refer to the textbook for the format, or search for the format of a Chinese letter on your own.
3. Practice the performance for the Chinese Spring Festival Gala and become thoroughly familiar with the lines.
