This Week’s Learning:
This week, we began Chapter 1 – My Life. We started by quickly reviewing the names for family members, and then emphasized the usage and importance of some key verbs. Students are advised to write these verbs down in their notebooks and review them regularly. The verbs are: 吃 (to eat), 有 (to have), 要 (to want), 看 (to look/to watch), 听 (to listen), 住 (to live), 是 (to be), 喜欢 (to like), 喝 (to drink), and 叫 (to be called). Finally, we studied Part 1 – I like/dislike…, and Part 4 – Hobbies.
